This pizza is a favorite of ours and is easy to make on that night that you don’t have a lot of time. The richness of the fresh mozzarella cheese and basil makes the pizza light and tasty without a lot of “stuff.”
- Pasta sauce – add to your liking
- Pizza crust – we prefer Mama Mary’s 100% Whole Wheat
- Fresh mozzarella cheese – again to your liking (we tend to buy this)
- 2 chopped roma tomatoes
- fresh basil – to your liking
If you have a pizza stone, this makes the crust crispier. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. Preheat the stone for 15 minutes. Add the pizza and cook for about 12 minutes. Check on it periodically to prevent burning. If you don’t have a pizza stone, preheat the oven and place the pizza in for the same amount of time.
