Penne Alla “Notka”

The “Cook Yourself Thin” books were the first books to really get us interested in cooking almost every night. I highly recommend them. The recipes are easy, simple, and delicious. Here is one of our favorite recipes:

Penne Alla “Notka

Ingredients include: olive oil, garlic cloves, red onion, salt and pepper, dice tomatoes, red pepper flakes, pasta, heavy cream, nonfat evaporated milk, Parmesan cheese, and fresh basil

We like to use thin spaghetti instead of penne. It reminds me a little of the Capellini Pomodoro from Olive Garden when I used to work there, but WAY BETTER!
